Destiny Arts Center works with Bay Area youth to teach them principles of peace and self-defense through dance and kinetic arts. They needed an identity system that could balance the energetic fun and welcoming culture of their center with the established, professional approach to their work. The symbol alludes to one of their core values—moving youth towards peace and empowerment.
Commemorative Book
A photo book was designed to celebrate Destiny’s 25th anniversary and feature some key people responsible for getting the organization where it is today.
Donor Wall
A bold approach was used to design a donor wall, highlighting key donors and individual donors.
Gala & Showcase Events
Materials were designed for two separate but loosely related events held in a span of a few months—a Gala held at Destiny’s facilities and a performance from Destiny’s youth. For the Gala, a program and an award sculpture were developed, while a catalog featuring photos and bios of the young performers was produced to support the live showcase.
